MISSED CLASS & PARTY Reschedule / Cancellation POLICIES:
PARTY GENERAL POLICY: A $100 deposit is required to reserve a party. For party cancellation, a refund of this deposit, less a $5 processing fee, will be granted within 3 days of your date of deposit. Due to the advance notice required for parties, after 3 days, your deposit of $100 is nonrefundable. We understand that emergencies, injuries or sickness may occur. Our desire is to serve you well with a generous policy, however our reschedule / cancellation policy is without exceptions please. 100% of deposit can be applied to the booking of another party to occur within 15 days from original date or any Monday through Thursday party with no date restriction, OR 60% will be applied to another party or returned to you in the form of Rumble Tumble Gym Credit to be used within one year of your scheduled event.
PARTY SEVERE WEATHER POLICY: 100% of deposit can be applied to the booking of another party to occur within 21 days from original date or any Monday through Friday party with no date restriction OR 60% will be applied to another party to occur after 21 days or returned to you in the form of Rumble Tumble Gym Credit with no expiration date. How will I know if my party will be cancelled due to weather? As a policy, we will not cancel a party based on a pending weather forecast. If you would like to reschedule your party before the storm hits, based on a forecast, the Party General Policy is in effect. If rescheduling is in consideration because the storm is underway or has already occurred, you will be contacted by our staff to make a decision regarding rescheduling the event due to unsafe travel for you and/or our staff. If a storm forecast is pending, you may inform your guests that IF YOUR PARTY IS CANCELED, IT WILL BE NOTED IN INFORMATION MAILBOX 7 OF OUR VOICEMAIL OPTIONS (Call 427-KIDS (5437) and select 7 at any time.) If you need to speak to us regarding rescheduling or cancelling within the next 48 hours and outside of our normal business hours OR if the storm is underway or has occurred and you have not been contacted by our staff, the director can be reached at home at (603) 431-2954 or (603) 828-4848 (cell). It is our goal to provide you a great party under safe conditions, and we will do everything we can to accommodate you. Thank you.
CLASS SEVERE WEATHER POLICY: In the case of severe weather, Rumble Tumble classes will operate on the same schedule as the Portsmouth School District when closed, and Open Gym will be determined case by case, and unless not possible these will be noted on our recorded message when they occur. In the case of any delay, all programs beginning before 10 am will be cancelled. Full tuition is due for weeks in which emergency conditions outside of our control require the center to close. Closings due to severe weather or emergency conditions beyond our control may be used as credit in an equal or lesser valued class or open gym within the current class year ending in June. It is member responsibility to obtain a make-up pass from your coach during your scheduled class time. Make-up passes will not be issued outside of your class time. A make-up pass must be submitted for admission to your make-up class or play session. Lost passes will not be replaced.
CLASS COACH ABSENCE: We do our best to keep all classes running around coach emergency, illness or vacation. In the instance where a substitute cannot be assigned, an extra class will be added on to the end of your session. Those continuing enrollment will be prorated 1 week of the new session if the make-up occurs on week 1 of the new session.
CLASS CHILD ABSENCE: Sick children who have a fever, running nose, upset stomach or cough will be sent home. If your child needs medication to keep these symptoms under control, please keep your child home . We offer a generous make-up policy, however gym credit or refund will not be given for illness or other absences. See our make-up policy below.
Class Make-Up Policy:
Your child may make up a maximum of 2 missed classes in an equal or lesser valued class or open gym within the same session. Those continuing enrollment may make up two classes into the next session. Absence on the last day of class is forfeited without continued enrollment. It is member responsibility to obtain make-up passes from your coach during your scheduled class time. Make-up passes will not be issued outside of your class time. A make-up pass must be submitted for admission to your make-up class or open gym session. Lost passes will not be replaced. Attire: Participants must wear socks. Soft knit or nylon pants and a t-shirt are preferred attire for tumbling, climbing and sliding. Even during warm months, we suggest light long pants for coving up in the play zone. Sports kids and campers should bring clean sneakers for locomotor skills in the ball court.
Program Cancellation: Each class needs a minimum of 3 children enrolled for the program to run. You may add 35% to the cost of tuition for a private class or 25% per student for a semi-private class. Other classes may be scheduled inside the gym during a private lesson.
Child Participation Expectations: Children are expected to participate and stay with his/her class and follow the direction of the coach. Coaches will ask a disruptive child to sit and observe the class until he/she is ready to participate and follow the direction of the coach. If a child complies, a coach will keep it positive and not draw attention to the issue. If a child is unwilling to comply, is unwilling to participate and/or is potentially harmful to self or others, a parent must return to Rumble Tumble immediately to address the needs of the child. A parent or caretaker must stay on site until child, parent and coach agree the child is able to participate and stay with his/her class and follow the direction of the coach. Rumble Tumble reserves the right to terminate enrollment when it is believed to jeopardize the well being of other children or the goals and expectations of our gym.
Daily Drop-Ins & Visitor Guests: Rumble Tumble will accommodate occasional daily drop-ins of its currently registered members at the current class rate. Those without current class registration pay the class rate + $3. Siblings or friends who are not in a class MAY NOT play or tumble during our instruction time. Those waiting in the gym must wait in the lounge chairs or may color in the party room as it is available with parental supervision only. All children under age 3 must have a parent on site.
Early & Extended Care: Early and/or extended care is offered, as available, at the rate of $8 per hour or $3.00 per quarter hour. Parents may not leave the building until the class scheduled start time. Those wanting a consistent early drop-off may add payment to the cost of tuition (15 minutes = $20 / 15-30 minutes = $30). Parents who leave before the start time will be required to sign in and must make payment to coach on duty. If a child is not picked up on time, please sign out your child and the extended care rate will be charged with a quarter hour minimum.
Program Changes: Rumble Tumble reserves the right to make any needed program changes with two weeks written notice posted inside Rumble Tumble.
Waiver must be signed for participation.
Withdraw From Class: We understand that schedules change and not every program is right for every child. However, Without Exception Our Policy Is As Follows: Registration Fee in Non Refundable at ANY time. After start of 2nd class, 2 weeks notice is required when withdrawing from a class and tuition is due for those weeks. Remaining tuition is refundable only in the form of gym credit to be used within one year of withdraw.
Rumble Tumble does not discriminate on the basis or race, religion, or disability. Children must be able to perform the documented requirements before advancing to a higher level class.
